  • OCTOBER ARTIST | Gloomy Grove

    About the Artist:

Niki fell in love with painting ghosts in 2020 and hasn't stopped since. She loves to explore the life of a ghost - their journey in the afterlife and what they are seeking. Whether it's their soulmate, a location, or just peace in being alone, Niki believes they're looking for the meaning of it all just as we are, and trying to find happiness in their journey through the afterlife. The realm between reality and the unknown, and juxtaposing dark and beautiful themes is what really inspires her artwork. Her preferred medium is gouache paint.

Niki is originally from Albuquerque, NM and now living in Seattle, WA with husband Jonny and their wonderful calico-cat Kozie and aussie-pup Kasper.

  • SEPTEMBER ARTIST | Shay Rays

    About the Artist:

Shay Rays is a visionary artist who maps the hidden terrain of the subconscious, translating dream imagery, symbolic architecture, and shamanic elements into layered color fields that act as portals to expanded perception. Before turning to art during the pandemic, she studied economics and pre-law and built a career as a commercial real estate asset manager, spending her days immersed in the language of systems and structure, decoding spreadsheets, and navigating high-stakes negotiations. Now, she applies that same pattern-seeking lens to the psyche, charting vivid inner worlds shaped by transformation and mystery. Shay is currently writing a novel that chronicles her journey through an intense shedding of conditioned and societal programming, offering a living testimony to the alchemy of change.goes here

    JUNE ARTIST | Casi G.

    About the Artist:

Casi creates impressionist paintings with a focus on jazz dance history. Jazz dancing, which includes (but is not limited to) swing dancing, Charleston and blues, is a black American art form that continues to evolve today. A dancer in addition to a watercolorist, Casi’s mission is to celebrate artistic expression and educate viewers about the rich history of jazz and jazz dance in America.

When she is not painting dancers, Casi is inspired by the natural world in the Pacific Northwest. She loves to create soft, contemporary paintings of mountains and flora.

Outside of painting, Casi loves spending time with her dog Theo, dancing and teaching Lindy Hop, and eating her way around the world with her fiancé John.
