Artemis Coffee is a cozy gathering place and a collaborative space for community to meet, featuring a coffee shop, art gallery and events. You’ll catch our owner Daniel there sharing his love of specialty coffee along with our friendly baristas.

We strive toward the goal to bring connection and community into a physical space through carefully curated selections of coffee beans from the finest specialty roasters, high-quality teas, events and workshops with artists, creators and community members from the Seattle community and Pacific Northwest.

Artemis Coffee carries a selection of third-wave coffee from roasters in the greater Seattle area and beyond Washington state that you can take home for your own pour-overs or home cafe espresso and lattes.

In addition to our selection of beans from specialty roasters we also stock a finely-curated offering of home-brewing and home cafe products including pour-over sets, matcha sets, filters and coffee brewing accessories. We love empowering you to curate your own home cafe setup with coffee supplies you’re excited to use. We’re happy to help you pick out gifts for the coffee-lover in your life or give an introduction to pour-overs for beginners.

We recently re-opened under new ownership — former customers of Assembly who are happy to honor the original vision of the shop as a third space in Ballard for the fine people of our neighborhood to build together. A vision years in the making, Assembly was started by Molly Hawkins as an extension of Seattle based creative and marketing agency We Are Unicorns.

Our new name reflects our desire to emphasize the community aspects of Assembly Coffee while extending the hours into the early evening. As Artemis is the Goddess of the Moon, she embodies the cozy and welcoming third space we aim to create. You've loved us as Assembly, and we hope you can welcome and love us as Artemis.
