MARCH ARTIST | Barnacles and Moss
Ruth Ann is the self taught illustrator behind the title Barnacles and Moss. Ruth Ann uses her love of horror, folklore and storytelling to create intricately detailed illustrations that are full of both darkness and whimsy. Although her detailed artwork gravitates toward a spooky atmosphere, her goal is to always shine a positive light on creatures and ideas that might otherwise be considered ugly, scary, or lost.
